Festplatte T30

Hallo!
Ich möchte mein T30 mit einer größeren Festplatte als 120 GB ausrüsten.
Eine WD-Platte (IDE = PATA) (WD3200BEVE) wird nicht erkannt - auch nicht mit einer Partition von 140 GB.

Welche Platten sind kompatibel?

Lt. datenblatt ist eigentlich schon bei 40GB ende.
Da hast du wohl mit der 120er glück gehabt.
Was ich mir vorstellen könnte das max. 160GB noch gehen würden.
Aber wer weiss das schon!

Evtl. gehts ja mit nem aktuellen Bios.

Thanks to all who helped out on this. I successfully installed the 160GB drive (it registered 153GB+, so I'll call that a success)

I should add that I had previously updated the BIOS to the most recent version before my other drive quit. I was unable to find any documentation on the Lenovo site in the different versions of BIOS that would tell me anything about LBA48, but it must be in there somewhere! Computer also booted WIN XP from the CD this time, when last time (pre BIOS updates) I had to use the floppy drivers :smileysad:
