Aussehen:

"Hinsichtlich Farbgestaltung wählte Acer eine hellgrau-beige Innenseite (Tastatur, Handballenauflage und Display) kombiniert mit einer schwarzen Gehäusewanne und einem glänzend lackierten schwarzem Displaydeckel. Das Gerät wirkt in diesem Outfit ganz passabel und versprüht sogar einen Hauch von Eleganz.

Nicht nur bei der farblichen Gestaltung, auch bei der Formgebung und der Gehäusekonzeption insgesamt beschreitet Acer mit dem 5920G einen neuen Weg. Das Gehäuse ist insgesamt vergleichsweise etwas dicker geworden. Außerdem erhielt das gesamte Gerät sanft abgerundete Kanten. Damit begibt sich Acer aber je nach Geschmack auf eine Gradwanderung zwischen innovativem Design und gestalterische Verspieltheit. Auch einen klingenden Namen hat man sich für das neue Outfit schon ausgedacht: Gemstone Design ("Edelstein").

Eine der wesentlichsten Verbesserungen des neuen Aspire Gehäuses ist der Gewinn an Robustheit und Stabilität. Beim Belastungsversuch mit einwirkenden Druckkräften bleibt die Chassis sehr cool und gibt kaum nach. Auch die Verwindungssteifigkeit des Gerätes fällt sehr gut aus. Knarrgeräusche wie sie bei älteren Aspire Geräten oft auftraten, sucht man beim 5920G vergebens."


Performence:

"Gleich bei drei Anwendungs-Benchmarks hat das Aspire 5920G-302G16N neue Bestwerte für 15-Zoll Multimedia-Notebooks gesetzt (Geekbench, Cinebench Single CPU, Povray, s. Tabelle unten). Die "gefühlte" Geschwindigkeit ist ebenfalls spitze. Kein Wunder bei einem Intel Core2-Duo-T7300 mit 2 GHz Takt und 2 GByte RAM. Da läuft das vorinstallierte Windows Vista Home Premium schon fast nebenbei.

Ein anderer Effekt der hohen Performance ist allerdings auch zu spüren: das 5920G-302G16N wird ziemlich warm, unter Höchstlast sogar geradezu heiß. Bis zu 46 Grad auf der Oberseite und 56 Grad auf der Unterseite können die Arbeit doch schon etwas erschweren. Im Normalbetrieb sind die Temperaturen geringer, aber immer noch nicht angenehm. 37 Grad auf der Handballenauflage beim Tippen dieses Tests sind deutlich spürbar, und das bei einer klassischen Büroarbeit mit geringer Last.

Entsprechend schlecht fällt auch die Ergonomie-Bewertung aus. Hier wirkt sich zusätzlich der fast ständig laufende und hörbar rauschende Lüfter aus. Selbst bei geringer Last gibt er selten Ruhe und macht so das stille Kämmerlein etwas weniger still. Zum Glück ist er nicht so laut, dass er den normalen Filmgenuss stört. Nur bei hoher Last ist der Lüfter wirklich unüberhörbar (eingefügt von Daniel01: Wenn solche Geräusche ein PC macht, ist er leise also....tztztz )."

"Erfreulich lang ist hingegen die Laufzeit: fast 3 Stunden (177 Minuten) schaffte der 5920G-302G16N unter Last mit dem BatteryEater. Das ergibt eine gute Mobilitätswertung – nicht immer selbstverständlich für leistungsstarke Multimedia-Notebooks."

"Neben den drei bereits erwähnten Leistungs-Benchmarks knackte das 5920G-302G16N gleich noch einen unserer Grafik-Benchmarks: 3161 Punkte heißt jetzt die neue Grenze beim Futuremark 3DMark. Auch der Aquamark 03 braucht sich mit 82536 Punkten nicht zu verstecken.

Etwas verwundert waren wir über die extrem schlechten Fear-Werte bei Minimum- und Low-Average (32 bzw 34 FPS). An den Grafikeinstellungen lag es nicht, sämtliche Performance-Bremsen waren ausgeschaltet. Falls es ein Treiber-Problem sein sollte, ist zur Zeit keine Lösung in Sicht – weder Microsoft, noch Acer oder NVIDIA bieten Treiber-Updates für die eingebaute GeForce 8600M-GT an. An den 256 MByte separaten Grafikspeicher wird es wohl kaum liegen, und ein Acer-Problem ist es auch nicht: Das vor ca. 2 Monaten getestete Acer Aspire 5683WLMi erreichte problemlos 202 bzw. 196 FPS an der gleichen Stelle. Vielleicht kommt unsere Fear-Version genau mit diesem Notebook in genau dieser Konfiguration nicht zurecht..."

"Im Acer Aspire findet sich ein 1280x800 WXGA Display, welches eine doch mitunter sehr stark spiegelnde Displayoberfläche aufweist. Die Auflösung bietet unter Windows Vista eine noch akzeptable Übersicht, wenn auch etwas mehr nicht schaden würde...

Durch die Bank positiv fallen die Messungen des verbauten Displays aus. Da wäre zum einen die maximale Helligkeit mit sehr guten 178.4 cd/m² im unteren Bereich des Panels. Auch die Ausleuchtung mit ebenso guten 81.1% überzeugt. Hinsichtlich der durchschnittlichen Displayhelligkeit wird mit 160.5 cd/m² ein ganz guter Wert erreicht."


Audio:

"Dank Subwoofer und High-Definition-Audio liefert das 5920G-302G16N einen sehr guten Notebook-Sound. Die Audio- und Multimedia-Ausstattung kann sich sehen und hören lassen. Die Verarbeitung solide und robust. Das Styling des Gerätes ist super!!! Das schwarze Gehäuse in Verbindung mit dem grauen Innenleben und den blau beleuchteten Sondertasten finde ich als ein gelungenes Konzept. Das Notebook ist allerdings etwas dicker als mein vorheriges Notebook.und mit 3 kg auch nicht unbedingt ein Leichtgewicht. Die Akkulaufzeit ist aber recht passabel: Im Energiesparmodus schafft er über 4 Stunden, im Ausbalancierten etwas über 3 Stunden und im Powermode zwischen 2 1/2 und 3 Stunden.

Ich kann das Gerät nur jedem entfehlen, der ein ausgewogenes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sucht :)

Ich ahbe das Gerat nun eine Woche und es hat alle meine wünsche vollstens erfüllt. Der Akku hält, bei aktivem WLAN und unter Dauerbelastung der Festplatte und DVD Laufwerk bei maximaler Display ausleuchtung, bei mir 2 Stunden.
Im Energiesprmodus und aktivem WLAN läuft das Gerät ca 3 Stunden.

Ich habe folgende Spiele getestet (GF6600m GT 256MB +768MB shared):

Rainbow Six: Vegas (Auflösung: 1024.. Details & HDR: Mittel)
Battlefield 2142 (Auflösung: 1024.. Details: Max)
Alle 3 Titel liefen ruckelfrei zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit und ohne Schlieren im Display.

Pro:
- lange Akku Laufzeit
- gute spiele Performance
- alle Anschlüsse gut zu erreichen
- scharfes und schlierenfreies Bild
- angenehm leise trots dauernd laufendem Lüfter.
- guter Klang dank integriertem Subwoofer.
- HDMI; VGA & SVHS Ausgang
- Gute Lüfter Position (wird auch auf dem Schoß NIE verdeckt).
- insgesamt gute Verarbeitung
- Design ist sehr gut, jedoch geschmakssache.
- praktisches Softwarepaket von Acer.


Kontra:
- stark spiegelndes Display
- Kein Bluetooth
- Sensortasten rechts der Tastatur werden SEHR leicht und häufig
versehentlich aktiviert (Brennersoftware Startet).
- USB Anschluß rechts blockiert bei großem USB-Stick das DVD-Laufwerk.
- relativ hohe Hitzeentwicklung der linken Laptophälfte auf
Ober-(ca 47°)und Unterseite(ca 57°) bei Volllast.

Fazit:
Sehr gutes Gerät in dieser Preisklasse (1.199 €) das ich mir jederzeit wieder kaufen würde und bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen kann!

Hallo!

Ich "besitze" dieses Gerät seit ca. 3 Wochen (10 Tage davon war ich im Urlaub wo ich es nicht mit hatte) und ich kann nur eins sagen: ganz klar, wenn man ein gutes Gerät erwischt, dann hat man damit seine Freude, wenn man jedoch ein schlechtes, oder gar zwei, wie ich erwischt, treibt es einen zur weißglut. Mein erstes Acer 5920 hatte nämlich einen pixelfehler. Aufgrund von glücklichen Umständen konnte ich es gegen ein korrekt funktionierendes Gerät eintauschen. Jedoch macht dieses nun neue Probleme:
1) Unter TAT (Intel Thermal Analysis Tool) also Vollast der CPU wird diese 90°C heiß (Raumtemperatur ca 23°C) also ist es unmöglich im Garten ein Game zu spielen, da das Notebook bei diesen Temperaturen 100% einen Hitzetod erleidet.
2)Bei der linken Handballenauflage erhitzt sich das Notbook unter Last wieder sehr stark. Hier dran ist die Festplatte schuld. Nach ca. 1h Betrieb beginnt mein Handgelenk unangenehm zu schmerzen sodass ich eine Pause einlegen muss und das Notebook abkühlen lassen muss. Das ist sehr ärgerlich, da man durch diesen Umstand unmöglich z.B.: Musik hören und arbeiten kann (Aufgrund der Wärme die die Festplatte durchs ständige Musikhören verursacht)
3)Der onboard Sound ist mehr als miserabel. Dieses Notebook soll ein Multimedia Notbook sein? Also mal im ernst: Das macht Gericom von Aldi besser!!!! Der Ton klingt wie aus einer Blechbox die scheppert. Selbst wenn man gute Kopfhörer (Sennheiser) anschließt, klingt der Sound so mager, das es einem nurnoch Kopfschütteln bereitet. Natürlich kann man den onboard Sound nicht mit dem einer X-Fi vergleichen, aber in meinem Desktop Rechner steckt nunmal eine.....Und der Unterschied beträgt Tag und Nacht
4)ich habe es bis jetzt 2 mal geschafft das NB aufzudrehen, ohne das es irgendwelche Abstürze verursacht. Jedes mal beim Aufdrehen bootet Windows, jedoch kurz vorm Desktop bleibt es stecken und das NB dreht sich selbstständig wieder ab.....ich habe bereits versucht ein System Recovery durchzuführen, jedoch funktioniert auch das nicht, da diese anscheinend auf meiner Festplatte fehlt!!! WAS SOLL DAS?

Also ehrlich mal: wenn ich null Sterne vergeben könnte, würde ich es tun. Der eine Stern soll mal die Leistung darstellen. Jedoch was bringt mir die, wenn mein NB dauernd abstürzt? Ich es nicht aufdrehen kann, und der Sound einfach nur mieserabel ist?? Echt: um 1550€ gibt es das ASUS G1S..Ich werde versuchen das Acer wieder zurückzugeben, um mir dieses zu holen. Denn 250€ ersparnis sind mir dieser Ärger und der mieserable Acer Support (15 min Telefonwarteschleife, anschließend kick => inakzeptabel) nicht wert....

Ich hoffe ich kann Ihnen mit meiner Rezension etwas bei Ihrer Kaufentscheidung helfen.

Ich besitze dieser super Notebook jetzt seit 3 Wochen und kann nur sagen, nach langem hin und her ist es nun eines der besten Notebooks, die sich zur Zeit
ham Markt befinden. es schlägt auch so manche top geräte 1-2 preisklassen höher!!
das acer aspire läuft bei mir zur zeit ganztags unter vista home prem im strombetrieb neben der Prüfungsvorbereitung: d.h. Musik-Programm, Office, hin und wieder videos und eine woche lang lief im hintergrund die Adobe Photoshop CS2 mit einem 120mb A3 projekt. dabei hat sich der arbeitsspeicher von 2024mb wirklich bezalt gemacht, das gerät wurde nur dezent in der linken hälfte warm und der kühler läuft sehr leise. die performance ist trotz eingestelltem energiestandard von nur "ausbalanciert" wunderbar, das WLAN imm auf EKZELLENT durch 3 Zimmer hindurch.

spiele oder größere 3D grafiken hab ich wegen Zeitmangels noch nicht ausprobiert, werde es aber in den nächsten wochen versuchen. habe aber gelesen, dass sie ruckelfrei auf hohen einstellungen und details laufen!

das einzige was mich etwas störte, ist die umstellung aufs vista (muss ich erst perfekt konfigurieren, konnte mich noch nirgends einlesen) und die damit verbunden probleme. wer auf altbewährtes setzt: XP rauf, festplatte (endlich, mit XP und Partition Magic klappts wieder!!!) gut partitionieren und viel spaß haben!
das problem ist die plattenaufteilung. über 9gb sind auf einer "versteckten partition" fürs backup, die ich aber wahrscheinlich bald löschen werde. bei einer platte mit 3gb weiß ich noch nicht wofür die ist. die anderen 2 sind auf 88 und 85gb verteilt. zum partitionieren warte ich auf ein unter vista laufendes programm, weil das systemeigene nicht wirklich der wahnsinn ist!

kleiner Tipp: zuerst die 2 backup DVDs vom Vista machen, da keine im lieferumfang sind! geht über das acer recovery management...

fazit: dieses acer notebook ist perfekt, stylisch designed und von der hardware absolut aktuellst (4,7 von 5 möglichen punkten im windows hardware check)!!! preis-leistung ist glaube ich die beste zur zeit!

einzige alternative: Samsung R 70 Devin; aber bei mir siegt das Acer-book im direkten vergleich dann doch!!!


p.s.: habe nur angst, dass der schöne hochglanz-lack am deckel bald zerkratzt, deswegen ist die schutzfolie noch oben! :)

Hey Danke für den Superthread zum 5920G. Kannst du mir sagen ob die XP Treiber die du verlinkt hast alle sind die man benötigt und das Notebook damit einwandfrei unter XP läuft? Muss man beim installieren von XP etwas beachten wegen der sata Festplatte?

Danke! Bei dem angesprochenen Thema habe ich keine Ahnung.

Tipp: Hab bei den XP-Treibern oben einen neuen Link gemacht. Da kannst du sicher was in Erfahrung bringen. Wenn nicht, schreib nochmal was und ich erkundige mich nochmal!;)

Ich habe ein neueres HP Pavilion (dv6357eu).
Diese neuen Pavilions mit diesem schönen glanzdesign...sind schön dünn.

Wenn vieleicht jemand so ein neues HP Paviliion mit dem Acer Aspire 5920G vergliechen kann wäre es sehr nett!
PS: Ich brauche auch eine objektive Meinung...ist es Dick oder nicht?

es ist mein erstes NB (5920) und ich finde es im akzeptablen bereich. Dadurch es schön abgerundet ist fällt diese angeblich zu große Dicke nicht auf!

ich habe mir auch dieses notebook zu gelegt und ich werde es bald bekommen. worauf ich mich auch schon sehr freue.

ich wollte dich Daniel01 mal fragen ob du dir schon xp rauf gemacht hast.

noch eine frage ist das das selbe Acer, Aspire AS 5920G-302G16MN denn meinst nennt sich so denn da kommt noch ein M vor

Hi, hab das Notebook schon eine weile... die version mit 200gb platte, 2x2ghz, 512mb grafikkarte und 4GB ram ;-) geht ab die kiste...

Macht bloß kein scheiß mit der Partitionierung, ich habs mir dadurch letztes wochenende völlig zerschossen, jetzt hab ich aber vista buisness installiert und genieße die vollen 200gb, ohne 10gb an irgendein backup scheiss abgeben zu müssen... (der eh nicht funktioniert hat...)
 
habe das 5920g 302g25hn vom cosmos
alles geht voll zufrieden doch nur das dvd/hd laufwerk nimt keine hds an
hat irgendwer auch dieses problem oder laptop?
 
So, hab mal wieder die Treiber aktualisiert (für XP) und zwei neue Tests hinzugefügt! ich habe jetzt xp drauf und man kann es nicht vergleichen mit Vista (sehr sehr viel schneller)!
 
hoi hoi erstmal nice tut :) . habe mal ne frage zum bios update da ich so was noch nicht gemacht habe und ich e bissel bange hab das dass in de hose geht :confused: .

laut acer´s eSettings m.... lautet meine bios- version v0.3508 ausgabe datum 22.05.07, frage: ist das jetzt die aktuelle oder schon ne veraltete version, hab zwar schon bei acer.de reingeschaut, da aber mein eng. en mü schlecht ist komm ich dort net wirklich zurecht :confused: was nun die aktuelle version ist oder nicht und vorallem die vorgehensweiße beim dowload und install.

:( brauchte da mal en mü hilfe :confused:

leider funktioniert der Link zu den XP-Treibern nicht mehr :(

sagt mal kann man bei den Acer Aspire Modellen auch den Lüfter regeln?

Oder hat da Acer dazwischen gefunkt?
