probleme mit integrierter webcam

hallo an alle!
ich hab probleme mit der webcam meines dv9000. nachdem ich sie bei msn verwenden wollte und msn sie nicht erkennen konnte, hab ich sie deinstalliert und anschließend die treiber neu runtergeladen und nochmals installiert.
leider hat das alles nichts gebracht- obwohl sie im gerätemanager als "einwandfrei funktionierend" aufgezeigt wird, passiert nichts, wenn ich sie bei msn (und auch woanders) einschalten will. es blinkt nur einmal das blaue licht daneben und das war's dann.

hat jemand ne idee, woran das liegen könnte bzw was ich dagegen tun könnte?

Läuft eigentlich alles über den TWAIN Treiber - sprich sobald die Cam mit der HP-Software funktioniert sollte es auch mit msn, etc. funktionieren! Sonst einfach nochmal die aktuellen Treiber für die Webcam herunterladen und installieren.

ich habe es aber schon 2 mal versucht und es ging trotzdem nicht.
was mich wundert, ist eben, dass angezeigt wird, dass sie funktioniert bzw funktionieren sollte... vllt liegt es doch an msn? kann das sein?

Mit der dv6000er Serie gibt's ein ähnliches Problem und mit folgender Anleitung lässt es sich beheben. Eventuell hilft Dir das weiter.

I had exactly the same problem, and i resolved it yestreday.
So here i will give u the steps how i did it.

1.Goto start and type Dienste in the Suchen start. 2.This will pop up the services window. 3.In this window check for the BILDERFASSUNG service, check if u can restart it again.

However most probably this is not going to resolve your problem, so what you have to do next is
Click Start >> Run >> Type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
Then you should find the Webcam programme, and you have to unistall this programme. Just right click and DEINSTALL.

Then you have to restart your laptop. My laptop installed the webcam by itself. But if it doenst install it by urself,you can follow these steps

1.From the Windows Vista desktop, Click Start , All Programs, and then PCHelp & Tools.2.Click Recovery Manager.The Recovery Manager Welcome screen appears.3.Click Next.4.On the Software Program Re-installation screen select No, and then clickNext.5.On the Hardware Driver Re-installation screen select Yes, and then clickNext.6.Click Next.7.Select a driver to reinstall, and then click Next.8.The Recovery Manager begins reinstalling the chosen driver. After thedriver installation is complete, click Finish to restart the computer.


Hopefully it will resolve the problem with your webcams
